DESCRIPTION:Join us for a fun evening of networking and a little bit of learning. \nOur goal is to offer you an evening of visiting\, learning about the outdoors and exploring what opportunities are out there waiting for you ! \nget tips on how to safely be in the outdoors and be fierce about it! \nAnd of course\, Wine and Appies sponsored by TC Energy and the Dawson Creek Chamber of Commerce \nOn site for your questions: \nRachel Ahtila is a full-time guide who most of the time can be found on horseback in British Columbia and the Northwest Territories. She’s also the host of the Full Curl Podcast and director of the Rocky Mountain Goat Alliance..she also ropes and rides!   \nRachel will be doing a short presentation on how she came to be a professional guide..and her journey from where she was raised in Kelowna to the North! \nHarvest Lifestyles – Sue will give you information on how to get your CORE (Conservation and Outdoor Recreation Education) or PAL (Possession and Acquisition License) \nStaff available to answer questions about outdoor gear such as clothing\, boots\, rain gear etc\, bear spray\, fishing\, hunting\, optics – anything outdoor related \nMeat Doctors – providing our appies for the evening – Bison and Elk as well as recipes and other local products for purchase \nWe have invited a local hunter/gatherer who offers her products at the art gallery to bring them to our event —teas\, jams\, jellies and other local delacies! \n  \nand there may even be a door prize or two! \nThere are only 50 tickets so sign up now!! \n  \n \n \n  \n  \n
