Welcoming a New Board
On behalf of the Dawson Creek and District Chamber of Commerce, I am delighted to introduce the new Board of Directors for 2024-25.
We are incredibly lucky to be joined by four new Directors this year, Yvonne Barmettler (South Peace Health Services Society), Vinay Parmar (Sleep Inn Pouce), Carin Parsons (Save On Foods), and Frank Ripley (Rips Cleats/Rips Shoe Renu), whose contributions can only enhance the services we are able to offer.
I would also like to thank our dedicated 2023-24 Board of Directors, including Trish Balding Peterson (Uniglobe Phillips Travel Dawson Creek), Anthony de Castro (RBC), and Morgan McClure (Urban Systems), all of whom have chosen to continue to serve on the Board in the upcoming year.
A special thanks to Heather Kohler (Dawson Co-op/Heather Kohler Designs) and Tammy Potratz (Northern Lights College) for their service to the Board over the last two years. While they will be stepping down from their roles as President and Vice President, I am grateful to have their continued wisdom and input as Directors on our Board.
While not a Board member, our City of Dawson Creek Liaison and local business owner, Councillor Kyle Macdonald, has been an invaluable resource, whose contributions to our organization over the last year are immeasurable. Thank you to the City of Dawson Creek for loaning us such a valuable asset to Council and the community, and for your commitment to the Dawson Creek Business Community.
A full list of Directors and their current roles, can be found below:

Respectfully,
