Show your Badge, our latest Keep Calm and Shop on DC initiative.
An Open Letter to Local Business Owners,
The Dawson Creek and District Chamber of Commerce have created a ‘Show Your Badge’ coupon program for local businesses. This program is intended to help encourage residents and visitors to check out our local businesses during events, such as the Fall Fair, and receive a discount or gift with purchases at those businesses.
The program will cost $100 to chamber members and $150 for non-members which will cover all related costs. Businesses will need to provide a copy of their logo, the promotion they wish to offer and any additional details they would like to include ie. terms and conditions, social media platforms. The rest of the work is done by our team, who will design the coupons, print and distribute the physical coupons as well as take care of all physical and digital advertising.
Businesses can join the program at any time and have their coupons displayed digitally even if physical booklets have already been printed and distributed.
Coupons will be provided in both physical and digital format, through our Keep Calm and Shop On platform, and a QR code will be available to participating businesses for advertising. Attached is an example of the physical coupons or head to www.keepcalmandshopondc.ca/coupons/
to see the digital examples.
We would ask that you keep track of the discounts or gifts with purchase that are given throughout the year so we can get a good idea of the uptake on the program and how well it is working in our community.
If you would like to be included in the program, or would like any further information, please contact Kathleen Connolly at email@example.com
“The Show your Badge program further supports our work around encouraging shopping local and supports our Keep Calm and Shop on facebook and website. We encourage businesses to leverage this asset with creative offerings to draw locals and visitors in their storefronts. The Chamber will offer supports to encourage consumers to take advantage of the savings offered by our local businesses and will promote the program in cooperation with Tourism Dawson Creek and other partners”
