On behalf of the Dawson Creek and District Chamber of Commerce, I am pleased to introduce the Board of Directors for 2026–27.
We are fortunate to have a committed and experienced group of local business and community leaders around the table. Nearly all our directors have chosen to return for another year, giving the Chamber valuable continuity as we build on the work already underway and continue finding meaningful ways to support our members.
Morgan McClure will continue to serve as Vice President, Anthony de Castro will continue as Treasurer, and I am honoured to return to the role of President. I would also like to offer a very special thank-you to Monica Rogers for her leadership and dedication during her tenure as President. Monica brought tremendous energy, insight and heart
to the role, and the Chamber is stronger because of her contributions. I am grateful that we will continue to benefit from her experience and perspective as Past President.
We also extend our sincere thanks to Carin Parsons and Colleen Bice for their service to the Chamber. Their time, ideas and contributions have been greatly appreciated, and we wish them both the very best.
Our 2026–27 executive is:
President: Heather Kohler
Vice President: Morgan McClure
Treasurer: Anthony de Castro
Past President: Monica Rogers
This talented and engaged Board is rounded out by Trish Peterson, Frank Ripley and Tammy Potratz, bringing a wide range of perspectives, experience and connections to our work. Together, we will continue to listen to our members, advocate for local businesses and strengthen the partnerships that help our community thrive.
I believe strongly in the Chamber’s role as a voice for business, a connector and a champion for Dawson Creek. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve as President again and excited about what this Board can accomplish together in the coming year.
Respectfully,
Heather Kohler
President
Dawson Creek and District Chamber of Commerce
